I misssed that original article and it’s very thoughtful (unlike the response which - well, it’s hard to know what point she’s making exactly except the very thoughtful “liberals make me want to vomit.”)

The truth is, even without the mortal threat, she’s still making a supreme sacrifice for her family, putting her children in that sort of spotlight. I think your argument works in both cases.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Not only is the sacrifice greater for Obama or Clinton, but they will BOTH have to work 10 times harder than any other president to prove that they deserved to win. They will forever have to try to live down the people saying things like “it’s because she’s a woman” or “it’s because he’s a minority”.

I think that Obama is the underdog, politically speaking. He has less of a track record, he’s still new to the game. I’m sort of rooting for him. Hillary gives the impression that she’s got this nomination “in the bag” and I’m not so sure she does. I guess we’ll see!

I’m not sure who I’m voting for either. Can’t decide between any of the GOP candidates.
