As a Canadian, I love reading things like this so that I am able to gain some ‘real’ perspective on your upcoming election. I often wonder how much of what we see on our news is accurate, and how much of your news is biased in some way.

I’ve been thinking that Hillary is down for the count. This posting only helps confirm it.

This is a wonderful post. But I’m not so sure how you thought you were going to be the first female president since that was supposed to be me.

I see so much of myself in this piece. I too never seemed to see the world in the same way as the others around me. I was always an outsider with my political beliefs (outside my family that is).

When I first found out I was going to have all boys I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to raise strong girls. But then I realized that my job was to raise boys who loved and appreciated strong girls and women.

Dear QueenofSpain, it is the thousands of unsung “ordinary” women who persevered in the face of prejudice, resentment, stinging words , and heartache to work in (then ) non-traditional roles, make non-traditional decisions and think for themselves who paved the way for the people who are “making history” now.

As much as I already supported him, I did so even more after reading about the woman who raised him and guided him. That article had me smiling and sobbing and wishing she was still alive to see what influence she would have over him now.

If we can be half the mother she was imagine how far kids can go.

wow. just when you had me going one way, thinking I should really be more technical and try and understand what the H these SXSW posts are all about, now you’ve gone and made me feel all just where I should be. Brilliant.
