This one of many reasons that I am thankful that I am married to a computer geek. My son will grow up wired, and it will hopefully open many wonderful doors for him, but hopefully, Dad will always be one step ahead...checking the doors for boogymen first!

I love this! I can't wait to see what they come up with.

I just remember sitting in on a beginning computer class full of senior citizens --- nothing against them, I think it was great for them to learn something new, but just the level of intimidation they had toward the computer was something to behold for me. I've always viewed a computer as a place for exploration. I've never had the kind of fear they experienced when clicking on unknown icons. For many of them, they were so concerned with learning the "right" way to do something -- the proper protocol and/or process. I love to think that humans and the machines they use are both becoming more intuitive.

They are completely wired. Here too.

It was a shock the first time I heard my daughter (then 5) advise someone to "just google it", for more information. I have since gotten over it. Perhaps I can learn things from her.

It's only a matter of time before my four year old's knowledge of the computer surpasses mine. I give it two years!
