As I live in Toronto and we Canuks don't celebrate Thanksgiving in November and therefore don't have black Friday. It was my master plan last Christmas that me and the girls have our first all woman trip from November 26th to November 30th to Vegas. So, on the high of 8 women together sans kids, husbands and any adult responsibilities we set on our way on a connecting flight from Toronto to Vegas on one of the busiest travel days of the year. After we finally made it to Sin City in the afternoon (a full 12 hours after everyone woke up the night before) Someone did utter the words 'the outlet opens at midnight', but at that point I was on my 4th vodka and cranberry and pumped so full of casino oxygen I could barely see straight. We did come up with a master plan for black Friday to hit the town hard at 10 am. The outlets in Vegas proved quite successful for all of us, ranging in deals on kids clothes, a few toys, shoes, purses for all of the women addicted to Coach & Burberry, and even something sparkly for moi. We were shocked too that things were somewhat in order once we arrived at the Outlet, and then the main mall on the strip. I had visions of elbows flying in the Coach store, and wares tossed about on the ground. I did get a few mild pushes, and some personal space invasions, but all in all it was a grand success for all of us. But this midnight business???? That's just too wild even for the likes of me. Kudos to you honey for being brave & crazy enough to get talked into that. You are a mad woman!
