I’m so glad to see your face. The effects of being on predinsone for your Lupus are the same effects that having Cushing’s has on people; only when you’re on oral steroids you don’t have the challenge of getting people to believe that steroids are what are making you sick and fat.
Yes, I’m sure when people see me they have no idea I’m sick. They just think I’m fat. It’s annoying. But I’m learning to get over it. I’m also learning that as I taper off the steroids I can lose this damn weight!
This is the first time I’m regretting not going to BlogHer this year. You look beautiful on the video. It’s great to see you smiling again. Best of luck on your talk. I’ll be cheering you on via BH@Home here in Vegas.
I wish you would post more videos of yourself, Erin. I came into the comments to say I think you look fabulous in this video — so much healthier than a few months ago — you’re practically glowing — and what I do find in the comments but more anxiety about losing weight.
Honey. You look BEAUTIFUL. Now. I am not saying this to be nice. When I’m being nice I say you ARE beautiful (which is also and always true). Go on and get healthy, but don’t worry so much about your dress size.
