Grown Men Suck and Little Girls Pad

…because THIS is what will happen if you don’t wean those babies of yours.

…and because THIS is why I just can’t get into the little whore clothing debate right now, other than to say “STOP FUCKING BUYING THIS SHIT AND THEY WON’T MAKE IT ANYMORE.”

“BREAST-enhancing padded bras for girls as young as six are being sold…Tiny matching lingerie sets of lacy bras and knickers in many children’s brands including Bratz, Saddle Club and Barbie, have hit the shelves aimed at girls who are barely old enough for school.”

  1. That… Is just fucked up. Who would buy that shit for their kids is a better question.

  2. God. Some time ago, there was an article in the Wall Street Journal (I think?) about moms buying their 12 year old daughters g-strings. Bratz dolls wear thongs and mini skirts. I want to puke. Nice that six year olds are getting in on the action. Why wait until they are 16 to get them breast implants and all that?

Our culture only gets more toxic for girls whenever we take a few steps forward. It is one of the many reasons that I can’t bear to have kids. It is amazing that anyone turns out normal given the assualt on our senses.

Love ya Queen (as always) for pointing this out.

  3. Padded bras and lingerie for little girls??!! Holy shit. I can’t believe someone would think to market this shit, much less the kind of parent that would allow their daughters to wear this. Are we raising a society of little whores? We seriously are going to have to start a compound. My parents wouldn’t even let me wear a thong as a teenager. I had to wait until I was old enough to have a job and then buy them for myself!

  4. kill
    kill
    kill
    kill

  5. The 7 year olds in my Mom’s second grade class dress in that type of thing – it’s just plain sad.

  6. Are these the same parents who will shit a brick when their little darlings come home pregnant and tear at their clothing and cry, “Why? Why? Why?” as they try to figure out where they went wrong?

    I think so.

Ick. Someone needs a time out.

Poor girls. They keep getting the short end of the stick…

  7. Our world can be a very wrong place. How on earth do these things happen?

  8. That really saddens me… I’m only 20, but I didn’t even own a pair of denim jeans until grade 4. I didn’t wear tank tops and thongs and BREAST ENHANCEMENTS… sheesh.

I can’t imagine a parent finding this to be okay… parents are supposed to be worried enough about when their girls DO develop breasts, and how to tactfully argue them out of choosing certain tops… and now they are finding ways to create the illusion of breasts in 6 yr olds?? *disgusted face*

  9. You have got to be kidding.
I love the video..but the padded bras for little girls. Those manufacturers and buyers need to be shot. What little girl needs that? Just another invitation to perverts everywhere.

  10. Padded bras for little girls? And we have parents upset about public breastfeeding? WTF? We are a messed up society.

    The video was hysterical!

  11. Ugh. I knew you’d like the BF man, and I do believe it might have been here that I first publicly announced my intent to hunt down and eviscerate the first person who introduced any “Bratz” product into this household.

Everything just points to how very little our society values girls/women, and exactly where what value they DO have lies. Makes me want to spit NAILS. AT people.

  12. Fucking Bratz. I just posted about them a few days ago. I HATE THEM. I wrote them a nasty email telling them they are fucking ridiculous teaching our little girls to dress and act like whores. Check out my post- I have a link to a Bratz doll that comes with a bottle of “bubbles” that looks JUST LIKE a bottle of…BEER!

  13. As a mother of a third grade girl, first of all, I agree that the padded bras are disgusting, and there is no way my daughter is going to wear one of those. And I absolutely HATE Bratz dolls. The one thing I have to point out that the peer pressure that girls have as early as third grade now is tremendous. I remember some of this when I was her age, but nothing like it is now.

First of all, trying to keep Bratz dolls out of your house is almost impossible, especially during Birthdays. We actually took a couple back to the store and exchanged them after my daughter’s birthday party a couple of weeks ago.

The second thing that is terrifying is that so many parent think these dolls and this kind of clothing is perfectly acceptable. My daughter has a couple of friends, who are also in the third grade, who have cell phones, cable TV with HBO in their bedrooms and internet access in their rooms with no supervision. These girls are exposed to so much sex that they think it is “no big deal.” My husband and I constantly battle with our daughter that she will not have these things, and she can’t watch VH1, because the videos are too raunchy, she can’t go on the computer unsupervised because there are “not very nice” people who can talk to you on the computer, and she can not have her own cell phone when she is 8 years old!

Ok, I’ve ranted enough…. and I love you, Queen, you really tell it how it is. Hopefully it is easier when Princess Peanut gets there.

  14. My 11 year old is just starting to wear a bra and I was horrified to see UNDERWIRE bras in her size. I mean, I’ve got floppy 38C tits, and I don’t want to wear an underwire–what the hell does a just developing tween need with one of those torture devices?

I guess I’m weird–I want my little girls to LOOK like little girls as long as they ARE little girls!

  15. That’s SOOO wrong its not even funny. Holy hell I wish parents won’t buy those abominations for their little girls. Its wrong enough that the things exist, but if people buy them then they’ll only be encouraged. Terrible stuff.

  16. Some people don’t know how to say ‘no’ to their kids. I don’t care how many idiots dress their little girls in slutty clothes, it doesn’t mean I have to buy the crap.

  17. It’s one thing to tell parents to stop buying this stuff. Why not tell the company to stop making it? The company is Funtastic and based in Australia. Here’s the link for consumers: http://www.funtastic.com.au/customer.html

Here’s the link for media: http://www.funtastic.com.au/media.html

Here’s the link for investor relations:
    http://www.funtastic.com.au/investor.html

Not sure what the time difference is, but if they’re not awake, I’m sure they have voice mail.

P.S. I just discovered that Funtastic also makes Thomas the Tank Engine stuff.

  18. Okay every body has voices about hte second link but that first one…..

    wow

that’s about all I can say.

  19. In reference to the first link, have you seen the YouTube video of the dad singing to his baby about “Where’s My Boob?” That should be the anthem of breastfeeding moms everywhere. It’s pretty cute.

  20. I agree that it’s disgusting. My niece is 6 years old and I want her to enjoy her childhood. In a recent chat, I was relieved when she told me that she didn’t like Bratz because of the way they dress and that all they care about is money. Why can’t we just allow little girls to be children?

  21. I don’t know if it was you I commented on or someone else on my hatred of the BRATZ doll. A friend of mine’s wife said she was getting one for some little girl’s birthday party and I said “Why, is she a whore?”

No wonder his wife doesn’t like me.

  22. THIS MAKES ME SO FUCKING ANGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could break out my oozie and go all femifighter on you, but I’ll leave that to the QoS, because she does so with a little more tact.

  23. Oh man! I wrote about that padded bra crap today. Unbelievable, isn’t it? And I basically said the same thing about buying it and creating a market for it.

I have a link to Target Corporate on my post if anyone wants to send them a complaint for selling that shit.

In fact, if you are as offended and disgusted as I hope you are, PLEASE drop them a line and tell them what you think!

  24. Sick. That is all.

I love that video – fucking hilarious!

  25. They buy it because these little girls wanna be just like all the pop stars out there. My brother-in-laws daughter is 12 and she looks like a hooker. And her mother lets her. It’s a sick sad world.

  26. I just saw freaking padded bras at Wal-Mart today! They’re tiny…so they must be geared toward very young girls. Idiots! Leave it to Wal_Mart to censor music and refuse to sell certain books/video games and the sell whore-wear for little kids.

  27. The video clip is funny!

The news about Victoria’s Secret is not. The sexualization of children is one of the saddest ongoing trends in our society.

    Mark

  28. God! From Izzy’s blog came the question ‘who exactly is buying this?’ Absolutely! Who are the parents who would do this to their daughters? Thank God they haven’t started selling stuff like that in our country in the regular shops yet. (Don’t know whether they are available at big city shops selling imported stuff though).

  29. And I thought I was just a fundamentalist Christian homeschooling prude! I’m glad to see it’s not just wackos like me who think dressing little girls like this is just beyond belief!

  30. One of my friends has a 6 (almost-7-)year old daughter. She doesn’t dress her like a Prosti-Tot, thank God!, but, that kid does TRY. She has several little blouses that are a tad baggy, and she will pull them DOWN, so you can just about see what isn’t there yet. When her mother or I pull the shirt back up, she will shoot a dirty look in either of our direction, wait a minute, and then tug it down again! Especially if there are men around…

The strange thing is that she doesn’t see anyone who dresses like that…Her mother and I are both fairly conservative, as are all of the women in her family. She has had several Bratz dolls returned after birthday parties, and only family-friendly t.v. is allowed on when the kids are awake. She also attends a private catholic school.

  31. I think some of these women are selfish I beleive its a womans gift to nurture. i must say i had big breast from 10 yrs old and by the time i was 11 my neighbor 55yrs was already sucking them. i think when little girls are allowed to explore teir sexuality it prevents them from becoming lesbians after all we were made for the male species. sam and i had a great time he taught me everything i know about sex

  32. This is not that big of a deal. Most of you complaining must be young because about 25 to 30 years ago we had underoos commercials where little girls sang & danced in their panties. Watch it on youtube, it’s a pedo’s dream. You see this & a padded bra won’t seem like a big deal. I’d rather have my daughter wear a padded bra than dance in her undies on national tv.
