I realize I am 3 hours behind on this whole Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade thing. But is Meredith on sedatives???? Did NBC inject her with some sort of tranquilizer before the show????
I’d like to start the “Bring Back Katie” chant now. We all know Katie is much better at parade coverage than hard news. Let’s just call it a “New” Coke incident and everyone goes back to what they were, and we all pretend like none of this ever happened.

Happy day after Thanksgiving…
A new (and sad) post showed up in my RSS reader but when I came here to leave you a marguerita it was gone. I hope everything’s okay!
I have had a terrible problem this year with Bella, that I didn’t anticipate:
Instead of local channels, our network feeds come from L.A. and New York. We usually watch the New York channels, since the shows are on at the same time (even though they’re a different time zone, they just show things an ACTUAL hour later over there) as they are here.
SO, my 4-year-old daughter is watching television from NYC, and TOTALLY does not understand why we are not getting in the car to go see the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Radio City Christmas Show. “We live in Arkansas, Baby,” is not cutting it for her.
I foolishly watched the OTHER stupid channel……full of CBS soap stars who I didn’t recognize and Neal Patrick Harris, who is now apparently the gayest man in America.
Being OUT means OUT to him.
Whoo.
After living in NY, and spending years of hiding from the parade and refusing to attend, I just can’t bring myself to watch it on TV either. The idea of anyone wanting to sit for hours on end and comment on the parade utterly weirds me out.
I guess I should mention, I hate a parade.
Dammit! See? One of the many reasons I need to come back asap… to miss out on gossip is a sin, A SIN I TELL YOU!
