I would like to thank the Academy

IT WON IT WON IT WON IT WON IT WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
…in advance.

I know that 24 hours from now, my husband will be able to say he is a digital artist involved in the film that won the 2007 Academy Award for special effects.

I love you Oscar.

  1. I hope he gets rewarded appropriately.

  2. We’re having a big shindig on the island when he wins – right?

  3. Oops, then I would like to apologize in advance for my post about the Academy Awards.

  4. I’ll keep my fingers crossed! Sorry I haven’t been on Second Life lately, I can’t install it on the machine I’m currently using. I can’t wait to get back!

  5. WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO! i had to dash upstairs to say congrats!!

  6. It was Pirates of the Caribbean II, right? It just won for best Visual Effects!

  7. CONGRATS Kaiser! You deserved it! I hope you heard me cheering all the way from Orlando!

  8. Congratulations!

  9. I was just wondering about that! Congrats to the Kaiser!!

  10. CONGRATS!!! Perhaps a big bonus will come your way that you can splurge on for your palace? 😉

  11. Congratulations! That is so exciting! Because he was one of the digital artists involved can he’s an academy award winning digital artist? Either way it’s very cool.

  12. I totally crossed my labia for him. It worked.

  13. Yee HA! CONGRATS!

(Though if Karen was crossing her labia, it was bound to be a sure thing.)

  14. Yeh, I pimped you in my Oscar blog. I knew it would win. That was the only category in which I had seen all the movies. I’m not sure what that means. In any case, GO KAISER!

  15. Big congrats to the Kaiser. I thought of you when they announced that award.

  16. Yay!!

  17. Hey I was thinking about him when I was watching the awards!

  18. OK, I thought that was your hubby. I was looking for you in the audience…

  19. WOWEE!!! Congrats – that is totally awesome!

Finally, an “I’d like to thank the Academy” post that really IS about thanking the Academy! Wooohooooo!!
