3 Joe September 12, 2008 at 5:22 am: One thing to keep in mind is that both parties spin everything. Regardless of your political point of view, the other side is always trying to do some spin.

I took a look at the site that feefifoto sent and ran some quick numbers:

Obama(was “true” or “mostly true”): 54%
Biden: 42%
McCain: 40%
Palin: 57%

So, while McCain appears to be running a more deceitful campaign, you can’t say that Obama is really running a truthful campaign.

As a side note: http://www.factcheck.org/ is another great site for digging into what the politicians say.
