  1. Your cute wee people are about the same size as my bandar-logs. They can come over and play some time if they’ll wear their helmets, and knee pads, and elbow pads, and eye protection … okay, the bandar-logs aren’t that rough but I hate making that parents-we-just-met call, “Umm, well, they made a parachute and it didn’t deploy exactly quickly enough from the top of the chimney …”

  2. what I mostly love about this photo is that they are posing with their Obama signs.

I saw McCain and Palin walking around trick or treating yesterday, real scarry eh?

  3. Now what would REALLY make this Halloween-style scary is if those signs said “Yes on Prop 8” and “McCain/Palin 2008.” This, though, isn’t scary — it’s a dream come true! PS: Cute kids. 🙂

  4. CUUUUUUUUUUUUTE! What happened to the pink unicorn costume? I heard something about it getting peed on, but I thought you got it clean? I’m so behind. Looks like they had a lot of fun. Love the pix!

  5. Huh. I had you pegged as a Yes on 8 household. Go figure.

  6. I’m glad to read you support the fundamental right for same-sex couples to marry in CA.

I’m from Belgium, Europe, where I live with my male partner. We have had the right to marry for quite some time, but decided that while it may be fine for some, it just wasn’t what we wished for personally. Belgium has an extremely high overall divorce rate, with the first gay divorces now showing we’re basically no different.

Belgium used to be Catholic but became secularized years ago, with virtually no religious right stopping same-sex marriage.

I feel any state should allow their gay pop to make the choice to marry, especially since it often includes getting the same legal rights as straight couples.

Loved the photo: it’s great to see some parents are relaying a message of equality for all.

    Belgium

  7. This pic made me smile.
